We had more snow in Virginia today which meant shoveling off the walk between the house and my Mom’s cottage. When I came up from doing my winter chore, I decided to snap a few photos of the back porch. 
The back porch is such a happy place in the summer with it’s cushions, pillows and flowers. In the winter it’s a little bare, but still cute.
We dangle these shoes to keep the door propped open so that our three cats can come up to eat and sleep.
I can’t wait to eat breakfast on the back porch again!
I found this furniture at a yard sale many years ago, it’s a little bare without cushions but still adorable!
Here’s one of our three cats, we call her “Jane Doe” because we couldn’t agree on a name. We upcycled a thrift shop stereo cabinet and turned it into a cat tower – the kitties love it!
